How to remove Datapex applications' access to your account and ask us to delete the data we have stored. The request is free of charge.

1. Remove the app's access to your Facebook and Instagram account

  1. On Facebook, open your account settings.
  2. Go to Business integrations (in some versions, Apps and websites).
  3. Select Datapex's Estúdio MKT app and tap Remove.

Access to the Instagram professional account comes through that same Facebook login: once access is removed there, Estúdio can no longer read or publish to the account. Estúdio users can also disconnect the account on the Instagram screen, which deletes the access token immediately.

Removing access does not delete what has already been stored. To do that, make the request below.

2. Request deletion of stored data

Send an email to contato@datapexbi.com.br with the subject “Data deletion” and include:

  • your name;
  • the application (for example, Estúdio MKT);
  • the @ of the Instagram account or the name of the Facebook Page, if you connected an account; or the @ that sent the message or comment, and to which brand;
  • whether you want everything deleted or only part of it (for example, only the messages).

To protect you, we may ask you to confirm that the account is yours before deleting anything (for example, with a message sent from the account itself). We reply within 15 days with a request number and, once the deletion is complete, we confirm by email what was deleted.

If your message or comment was sent to a brand served by Estúdio, you may also make the request directly to that brand, which will forward it to us.

3. What is deleted

  • the access token and the identifiers of the connected account and Page;
  • the media, captions and post figures stored by Estúdio;
  • the stored messages and comments, together with the identifier, @ and public name of the person who wrote them;
  • for users of a Datapex application: the registration (name, email and password) is anonymized.

4. What may be retained, and why

  • access logs, for 12 months (Art. 15 of the Marco Civil da Internet, the Brazilian Internet Act, requires at least 6 months), after which they are deleted;
  • the record of who approved or published a piece of content, without your name, when needed to comply with a legal obligation or for defense in legal proceedings (Art. 16 of the LGPD, Brazil's General Data Protection Law);
  • what has already been published on Instagram stays on Instagram: published posts and comments are deleted on Instagram itself or by asking the brand.
